In this two part workshop students will be introduced to the model making techniques of Industrial Light ands Magic, the effects company behind the original Star Wars movies. The class will focus on “kit bashing” to achieve visual interest and texture. In session one flat panels will be made and silicone molds cast, in the second session cast plastic pieces from mold will be assembled into the final model.
Materials: Model Glue (solvent glue), Plastic, Scissors, Hot Glue.

In this single session workshop students will be introduced to different the model making techniques. Build Star Wars, Mine Craft, whatev, the focus is on free building and creative exploration and who can use the most glue.
Materials: White Glue, Paper, Cardboard, Scissors, Hot Glue.

Why toss that cereal box when you could turn it into prime real estate? Grab your scissors, glue, and a healthy disrespect for zoning laws — we’re making model buildings out of cereal boxes! Whether you fancy a Frosted Flakes skyscraper or a Cheerios cottage, this project lets you recycle and get crafty. Bonus: if your city collapses, you can eat the rubble.

In this workshop students will be introduced to scale, geometry, math and model making techniques. Build something simple or advance, no rules. Drop in for one class or many.
Materials: White Glue, Scissors, Hot Glue.
All five Platonic Solids drawn by me for you to fold. Three sheets, maybe extras with five 3D shapes, cut and fold. Needed: Scissors, Tape or Glue, and patience.
